Science has always taken an important place in the development of modern world. Because people have limitless expectations but unfortunately our natural resources are restricted this is why; in today’s demanding world, the importance of the natural resources management has significantly increased. When we think of the needs and future plans of the twenty first consumer century man and the increase rate of the population in our world it seems quite clear that science and its management will have a greater place. As a consequence, it very important for me to have further education in natural resources and its management to be able to contribute the protection of the natural resourches as a well-qualified scientist.

I have always been interested in human being - nature relation and natural resources management. My father is a chief inspector and at the same time he is vice president of committee of inspection of Republic of Turkey Forest and Water Affairs Ministry and my brother is a forest engineer like me. We are both inspired from our Father.  I spent my childhood in Forest General Directorate’s public housing and related environment.  So, since my childhood my father helped me to be more motivated and familiar with the world of science. He is also my role model and have significant effect on  me to making plans for an academic career after having a BA degree.
